We produced a series of videos for the ROCKET project ( @NMWP ) this one is about "iCoat".
In the iCoat project, Coatema (DE), VerAutomation (NL) and Holst Center (NL) are developing new types of slot nozzles for the intermittent coating of low-viscosity inks. The nozzles will be integrated in the Solliance pilot system at the Holst Center, where they will be qualified on the component level using perovskite solar cells.

An ultra-fast piezo control is used to switch the slot nozzles. The intermittent coating allows a lower material consumption, a higher yield and thus enables reduced production costs.
