Rock tumbler leaking around the lid? This step-by-step rock tumbler repair shows how to replace a worn lid gasket on a Lortone 3-lb rubber barrel and stop gray slurry from leaking onto your tumbler.

If your Lortone 3A or 33B barrel drips, leaves a puddle, or no longer seals correctly, the rubber lid gasket is one of the first parts to inspect. I’ll show you how to identify a worn gasket, remove it, clean the lid groove, and install the correct replacement.
