One day, robots could roll across the moon’s surface, working in tandem with human operators to build the infrastructure people need to colonize the moon. A team of students at CU Boulder are laying the groundwork for that future. In a new study, the researchers explored how humans could train to operate robots on the moon using “digital twins,” or virtual reality environments.
