These 5 day robin chicks are doing very well. They are being constantly fed all sorts of food by the parents. The mother did not brood the chicks as much today. It was warm out so I think the chicks did not need as much heat. There are some pretty big bugs that get shoved down the baby birds mouths!

These three sparrow chicks are growing rapidly. Just a week after hatching they have quadrupled in size and are very alert. This evening footage shows the parents constantly feeding the chicks before nightfall. They need to make sure the chicks are well fed for the night. The mother is still brooding them at night.

I zoomed in the camera for some cool close up shots of the sparrow family! You can really see the detail of the baby bird chicks bodies. Its fun to watch the chicks be fed so close. The sparrow chicks are 7 days and growing quickly! Their eyes are finally fully open. It must be a neat feeling for them after being completely blind for their first 4-5 days.
