#AbrahamLincoln’s first son, Robert, was born on August 1, 1843. He went on to serve as Secretary of War, U.S. Ambassador to Great Britain, and later as president of the Pullman Company. Robert died in 1926 at age 82. His children and grandchildren were the last of Lincoln’s direct descendants. #ALPLM #LincolnLegacy
