It's been 10 years since the first episode of 5D's and this is my own way of celebrating (tho a bit late)!
I wasn't into Yu-Gi-Oh! 10 years ago but I'm glad people who did made me enjoy this series as an adult as much as they did as teenagers. Also, this is my favourite opening from the entire series so I'm really glad I could find an excuse to arrange it!

Christmas has come and gone again, and my secret santa this year was an avid Shadow Hearts lover! How could I let this chance pass? So I made a medley. Wanted to make it longer, but I caught covid just in time to finish writing down the sheets and then collapse. Im all good now! Which is why I got back on the midi and polished it well enough to publish it here on YT.
Some of you might now Im going full time on music, and while my main goal is composing original music I still adore arranging all the tunes that made me fall in love when I was a kid and now that Im a still-growing adult. Lets have a blast this year!

I made this last December as a Secret Santa present for @GlaceonChan, the developer of Neko no Sentouki, an adventure visual novel I had the joy to be the main composer for! The theme for the Secret Santa was RPGs, so I covered the most recent one we both played at the time... but I /had/ to sneak in a Neko reference.

SynthV is mad fun! I like to sing my own stuff but since moving I still havent been comfortable enough (or healthy...) to record again. Enter Ayame, who covers a much higher range than what my voice can AND is immune to sore throat. I was an avid VOCALOID fan when I was a teenager, so following my favourite producers footsteps feel incredible... teenage me would be screaming.
This is a fake ending/insert song to the TTRPG campaign Im part of! Mizuki, barely hanging on their sanity, has a close encounter with the main villain, who promises them theyll be able to reunite with their dead brother. Between betraying their friends and see him again... Mizuki chooses the latter.
A song from the point of view of someone whos lost everything and always acted like the eternal victim of their own circumstances, projecting a past thats never coming back onto people who only tried to help, and ultimately stabbing them in the back.
They get better! But this is Mizuki at their lowest.
Its good to rest when things get hard, but the fight isnt lost until you give up for good.
EDIT 3/10/25: The song is up on Bandcamp and you can get the instrumental for free! Mostly because Id love to hear covers of it, so if you want to give it a try please send them my way. Id be honored!
