Designed by Bob Flanagan, Road Runner brought classic Saturday morning cartoon action into arcades. Players controlled the fast-footed Road Runner, dodging landmines, traffic, and falling rocks while collecting birdseed to stay energized and outrunning Wile E. Coyote.
This arcade preview showcases the smooth isometric scrolling, crisp cartoon graphics, and faithful sound design—including the signature "Beep Beep!" audio cues and classic cartoon score melodies—that enticed players to drop in a coin.
