On January 30th at 10:16 p.m., deputies received a crash notification for a single-vehicle collision into a tree located at the 16100 block of Military Road. E, Tacoma. The preliminary investigation appears to be a road rage incident that occurred on 22nd Avenue. E. Passerby's and deputies pulled a 21-year-old male driver from the vehicle with a gunshot wound and attempted life-saving measures. Fire arrived and pronounced the victim deceased.
