Join me and some friends as we head to Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, Orlando, to experience Disney's newest ride and attraction on it's opening day in Galaxy's Edge! That ride is the long anticipated Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance!
I arrived at 3am to wait with excited crowds! We were finally let inside the park at 5.30am and it wasn't long before we were recruited to help the resistance and escape the First Order!
Opening day had a few issues and we were escorted off the ride at one point but Disney dealt with this exceptionally well and we didn't wait long before finally getting to engage in this BRAND NEW EXPERIENCE! It truly isn't just a ride but a full immersive experience that left me speechless! I've done my best to cover the excitement of the Opening Day events but I do urge that if you ever get the chance to travel to WDW (or Disneyland after January 17th) to ride Rise of the Resistance then wait however long it is because you will not regret it!
I knew I was going to be impressed with this ride but I wasn't ready for how much! Watch to hear our first reactions as we experience Star War's Galaxy's Edge: Rise of the Resistance!
