Command & Conquer: Generals - Rise of the Reds is a modification for Command & Conquer: Generals first released in 2008. It was made by SWR Productions, who also created Command & Conquer: Generals - Shockwave.
Rise of the Reds makes various modifications to the United States, China, and the Global Liberation Army, and includes two new factions: the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance.
Other changes include new units, structures, and powers, as well as a stronger emphasis on scouting, stealth detection, and counters. The mod also features new and unique voice lines as well as overhauled cosmetic changes to the game.
The Generals Challenge is not available for Rise of the Reds by default. However, there are several fan-made mods that enable it again.
