Just two weeks after race 2, we are back in action with race 3 of riolu's XD Race! This time around the server was completely full, which is making me super happy! Great to see so many people enjoying the competition :]
Season 2 starts off with the same recipe as season 1 but with one major twist: the possibility of having TMUF vehicles used as environment mix on the tracks. This will add six extra vehicles to be mastered for the players, next to the four regular TM2 vehicles.

This is my personal best time and current world record at the time of upload on Stadium C15.

Multilap meister is back with another record that was surprisingly easy to get close to after a little bit of effort in practicing.
Never hunted this map in the past and had like 1.000 SP on it before I started giving it a shot and ended up making swift progress with big leaps into the worldwide top10, and then later with this WR.
Its quite a fun track despite mistakes being mostly very punishing since this is a very momentum-based track. Not much to explain here to be fair, the wallride needs to be as low as possible, turns need to be precise and close to the walls at maximum speed. The right hander after the wall is really difficult to hit since it requires a short release at the perfect timing, depending on where and how you enter the corner. Exit speed is really important here for the upcoming turn combination. The wallbang is best when you hit it as late as possible, an early wallbang makes you shift down a gear and kills your momentum.
Around the multilap section, the final drift needs to be driven with exit speed in mind as well. You need the speed to make the upcoming drop smooth-ish, otherwise youll lack the speed over the entire long platform part up until the next drift.
Glad I was able to clock in 3 solid laps here after a bunch of really dumb chokes, however theres still room for at least 0.20 of time gains (probably even more) with my current pace.
