Here is an interesting compilation: the Rio Grande 2-8-0 Consolidation locomotives. As the title implies, the compilation encompasses several classes featuring the wheel notation. Engine classes featured include the D&RG Class 74, D&RGW C-19, C-17, Class 70, C-16, and C-18 (No. 315). Particular engines of note are C-16 268 in her Bumblebee livery, C-18 315, RG 340 before her move to Knott's Berry Farm and sister engine 346 at the Colorado Railroad Museum. These are fantastic workhorses with a great lower center of gravity, small drivers and wonderful tractive effort. They are also a breath of fresh air compared to outside framed "K" Mikado locomotives typical of the Rio Grande. Hope you enjoy!
