Video #67 - The next "Tales of the Riftwalker" is ready to go... and so is Raelskye as she prepares for her journeys to the Plane of Water.
I'll be the first to admit - while I liked Storm Legion as an expansion, it has NOTHING on Nightmare Tide. Holy hell, the stories, the maps, the EVERYTHING. And originally, Part II of the "Tales" was going to be Rael going to Brevane and Dusken. Forget that - as soon as Nightmare Tide hit, I chose to skip that video and go straight to Nightmare Tide.
As has been earlier shown in Part I, and hinted at again during my "What's Past is Prologue" Rift Retrospective video, Raelskye has been troubled of late, and more recently plagued by nightmares. This was a great lead-off for Part II here, which I opted to do as more of a 'trailer' than an actual music video like Part I was. (Don't worry - Part III, which I'm filming right now, will be an actual music video.)
The music here is Twelve Titans' "Dust and Light", which you probably heard in the fantastic ad for "The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies". It is such a great, great piece of music, and sweeps you along with it. Ironically, I'd intended to use this music for a LATER Tales video, where Raelskye encounters... well, you'll find out when you get there.
