I am not sure if my front brakes were contaminated before the ride or after I ran into the bush on the first trail but I noticed I didnt have any front brakes. When I went to try to clean them I noticed there was a leaf stuck in between the rotor and the pads and the oils from the leaf must have contaminated the pads. I had no bite at all and I had no control on the bike. I finished the ride luckily with no crashes but decided not to take any of the really gnarly trails for obvious reasons.
