We went out to one of my favorite trails in SoCal. We shuttled with Seans van and just did odd man out. The trail was in pretty bad shape from the recent rain. We didnt take a warm up lap like we normally do, I wasnt expecting the trail to be that bad since there were so many people that rode it that weekend. On the first lap I sent the ladder drop right into a giant rut. The impact ripped my tire off the rim. This wouldnt have happened if I wouldve installed my Tannus Armor inserts. On the 3rd lap we decided to fill in the giant ruts and clean up all the loose boulders. After that the trail was running so good.
It was really crazy to see how fast Pro Riders are. We had a solid crew. It was me, Big Booty Chris, Sean, Levy, Hector and Mark. Mark Clemons and Big Booty Chris were absolutely flying. Mark used to race in Pro Division and Chris just recently got his Pro license. Levy who is also racer was flying as well. Me, Sean and Hector were on a different level. We also saw Ryan Pinkerton who was the 2023 Junior Overall World Champ and this season he moved up to Elite Pro Division. He was doing practice laps and just flying.
