Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash is a Thomas Land water ride at Drayton Manor Resort, located towards the back of Thomas Land near Blue Mountain Engines, James and the Red Balloon and Toby’s Tram Express. The ride opened in 2023 and is now part of the main Thomas & Friends ride line up inside Europe’s only Thomas Land.
Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash is a Soquet mini log flume style attraction with small boats travelling through a compact water ride layout. The ride combines Thomas & Friends theming, submarine styling and splash moments, giving guests a water based ride experience in the Thomas Land area of Drayton Manor Theme Park. The attraction has a minimum height requirement of 0.9m, guests under 1.2m must ride with an adult, and guests must be at least 6 years old to ride unaccompanied.
Thomas Land officially opened at Drayton Manor on 15 March 2008 on the former site of Robinsons Land. The area expanded in 2015 with more rides, themed buildings and attractions inspired by Thomas & Friends and The Island of Sodor. Today, Thomas Land features over 25 rides and attractions, including Sodor Railway, Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster, Cranky’s Drop Tower, Harold’s Helicopter Tours, Jeremy Jet’s Flying Academy, Flynn’s Fire Rescue, Bertie Bus, Captain’s Sea Adventure, Toby’s Tram Express, Diesel’s Locomotive Mayhem, Winston’s Whistle Stop Tour, Blue Mountain Engines and Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash.
Drayton Manor Resort is located near Tamworth in Staffordshire and includes the theme park, Thomas Land, Drayton Manor Zoo and the Drayton Manor Hotel. The resort has over 50 rides and attractions, including major areas such as Thomas Land, Adventure Cove, Vikings and Frontier Falls.
Frontier Falls is the Wild West themed area at Drayton Manor and is home to Gold Rush, a family rollercoaster set around an old mining town. Vikings includes themed rides such as Thor, Loki, Jormungandr and Sleipnir, while Adventure Cove includes rides and attractions with a coastal theme, including River Rapids, Wave Swinger and Tidal Towers.
Drayton Manor also includes popular attractions such as The Wave, Accelerator, Maelstrom, Stormforce 10, The Haunting, Sheriff’s Showdown and Drayton Manor Zoo. The Drayton Manor Hotel gives guests the option to stay close to the theme park, with standard rooms and themed rooms including Thomas & Friends rooms and Vikings rooms.

[4K] Vortex Watercoaster at Crealy Theme Park & Resort, join us as we take on the world’s first triple tube water coaster and experience all three slides, Venom, Vertigo and Viper on this thrilling water ride in Devon.
Vortex Watercoaster is a triple tube water coaster manufactured by Van Egdom and opened at Crealy Theme Park & Resort in 2010. Riders climb 16 metres to reach the launch platform before choosing one of the three unique slides that make up the Vortex experience. Each slide offers a different type of ride, creating one of the most distinctive water attractions at Crealy.
Viper features 72 metres of fast paced twists and turns, sending riders racing through the enclosed tube. Vertigo delivers a steep drop and rapid descent that quickly builds speed, while Venom is a longer and more uneven slide that produces plenty of bumps and moments of airtime. Together the three slides combine to form the world’s first triple tube water coaster experience.
Vortex Watercoaster Restrictions
Venom
Guests must be 100cm to ride alone and between 92cm and 100cm to ride with someone over 100cm. Two adults cannot ride together.
Vertigo
Guests must be 100cm to ride alone and between 92cm and 100cm to ride with someone over 100cm. Two adults cannot ride together.
Viper
Guests must be 100cm and 16 years old to ride alone and must be 100cm to ride in pairs. Guests between 92cm and 100cm can ride with someone over 16 years old. Two adults cannot ride together.
Crealy Theme Park & Resort, previously known as Crealy Adventure Park & Resort, is the largest theme park in Devon and features over 60 rides and attractions alongside live shows, indoor play areas and animal experiences. The park opened in 1989 and is operated by Maximum Fun Devon Limited, attracting families from across Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset.
Sooty Land remains one of the most popular areas within the park, based on the long running British television characters Sooty, Sweep and Soo. The themed land includes Sooty’s Magic Bus, Sweep’s Flying Circus, Soo’s Sweet Balloon Ride and Izzy Wizzy Let’s Get Dizzy alongside Sooty’s Big Top Showtime and an indoor pier building filled with themed attractions, games and dining locations.
Later in 2026 Crealy will introduce two major new rides. Pirate’s Plummet, formerly Magma at Paultons Park, is being rethemed to fit the pirate area and will become the tallest ride in the South West once open. Rotor, a Zamperla Air Race attraction with a steampunk theme, will add a new aerial ride experience to the park. As of March 2026 both rides remain under development with no confirmed opening date.
Crealy Resort also offers on site accommodation including Luxury Hot Tub Lodges, Devon Hideaway Glamping, Safari Tents, Camping and Touring pitches and Holiday Caravans, allowing guests to stay just steps away from Devon’s largest theme park.

SEA LIFE Chessington is a fully themed indoor aquarium located inside Chessington World of Adventures Resort. Included with park admission, the aquarium allows guests to explore fascinating marine environments filled with colourful fish, sharks, rays and freshwater species.
The aquarium first opened in 2008 on the site of the former Children’s Zoo and forms part of the global SEA LIFE network operated by Merlin Entertainments. The attraction is divided into several themed zones including Our Shoreline, The Reef, Amazonia, and Azteca, each representing different aquatic environments from around the world.
One of the highlights of SEA LIFE Chessington is the Ocean Tunnel, where guests walk beneath a large viewing tank surrounded by marine life. From this perspective you can see species such as the California horn shark, porcupine pufferfish, rays and schools of tropical fish swimming overhead, creating a fully immersive underwater experience.
Chessington World of Adventures Resort continues to evolve as one of the UK’s leading family destinations, combining a theme park, zoo, SEA LIFE aquarium and themed hotels. The park features over 40 rides and attractions across lands including Adventure Point, Wild Woods, Shipwreck Coast, Forbidden Kingdom, Land of the Tiger, and the highly themed World of Jumanji.
For 2026, Chessington is preparing to open a brand new themed land. World of Paw Patrol, inspired by the popular animated Paw Patrol series, is scheduled to open in Spring 2026 on the site of the former Mexicana and children’s zoo area. The new land will feature family attractions including Adventure Bay Rescue Coaster, Marshall’s Fire Engine Rally, and Skye’s High Flyer, along with themed play areas and character experiences.
Another major future development is the transformation of Wild Asia into a new immersive land themed to Minecraft, know as Minecraft World. This project will introduce new attractions, retail and dining experiences, bringing another major intellectual property to Chessington and expanding the resort even further.
With its mix of marine life, conservation messaging and immersive displays, SEA LIFE Chessington remains an important part of the resort experience and a great place to explore the wonders of the ocean while visiting Chessington World of Adventures.

Peppa Pig World continues to delight guests during the 2026 summer season at Paultons Park. Opening in April 2011, Peppa Pig World became the worlds first Peppa Pig Theme Park, officially known as Paultons Park, Home of Peppa Pig World. Peppa Pig World brings the Peppa Pig television series to life with themed rides, attractions, play areas, character experiences and familiar locations from the popular television show.
Peppa Pig World features nine themed rides including George’s Dinosaur Ride, Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride, Grandpa Pig’s Little Train, Daddy Pig’s Car Ride, Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight, Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club, The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride, Windy Castle Ride and Grandpa Pig’s Boat Trip. Guests can also visit Peppa Pig’s House, Madame Gazelle’s School House, George’s Spaceship Playzone, the updated Mr Potato’s Playground and Muddy Puddles Splash Area, Peppa’s Photo Studio, and the worlds biggest Peppa Pig Toy Shop.
Peppa Pig World is included with admission to Paultons Park, which is home to more than 70 rides and attractions across a collection of beautifully themed lands including Peppa Pig World, Lost Kingdom, Tornado Springs, Critter Creek and Valgard: Realm of the Vikings. Construction is now underway on Serpents Curse, which will become the UKs first water coaster when it opens in 2027,
Peppa Pig Theme Parks can now be found worldwide, including Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida, Peppa Pig Park in Günzburg Germany, and the newest Peppa Pig Theme Park in Texas. Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park remains the original Peppa Pig Theme Park.

Located directly opposite the Hogwarts Express within the Platform 9¾ area of the Studio Tour, this unique shop offers an extensive range of souvenirs, gifts, homeware, clothing, collectibles, sweets, and exclusive Wizarding World merchandise inspired by one of the most iconic locations in the Harry Potter series.
The Railway Shop specialises in Platform 9¾ and Hogwarts Express merchandise, including luggage tags, travel accessories, clothing, stationery, mugs, ornaments, and railway-inspired souvenirs. Guests can also create their very own personalised Hogwarts acceptance letter, making for a memorable keepsake from their visit. A selection of Harry Potter character wands is also available alongside Chocolate Frogs, Peppermint Toads, and other wizarding treats perfect for the journey home. Many items sold here are exclusive to the Railway Shop and cannot be found elsewhere in the Studio Tour.
Platform 9¾ first appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone when Harry Potter entered the magical world and boarded the Hogwarts Express for the first time. Hidden within Kings Cross Station, Platform 9¾ serves as the departure point for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Hogwarts Express became one of the most recognisable symbols of the Harry Potter series, carrying generations of students between London and Hogwarts and appearing in every film. The train provided the backdrop for the very first scene filmed for Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone and the final scene filmed for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
The Platform 9¾ area at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London opened in 2015 and features the original Hogwarts Express locomotive alongside authentic passenger carriages used during filming. Guests can board the train, explore recreated scenes from the films, and experience the magic of travelling to Hogwarts before visiting the Railway Shop.
The Railway Shop forms part of the First Year at Hogwarts event, running from 7th May to 7th September 2026. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, the event features original props, costumes, interactive displays, Wizard Chess pieces, Fluffy the three-headed dog, and special experiences inspired by Harry Potters first year at Hogwarts.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London opened in 2012 at Leavesden Studios, where all eight Harry Potter films were produced. The attraction showcases authentic sets, costumes, props, creature effects, and filmmaking secrets from the Wizarding World. Similar Studio Tours can also be found in Tokyo and Hollywood.
Leavesden Studios is also home to the upcoming HBO Harry Potter television series starring Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. The new adaptation is expected to premiere in 2026.

La Cabane des Robinson, meaning The Robinsons Cabin and known as Swiss Family Treehouse at Walt Disney World, is a walkthrough attraction located on Adventure Isle in Adventureland. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, it opened with Disneyland Park on 12th April 1992 and is based on Disneys 1960 live-action film Swiss Family Robinson.
The huge artificial tree rises above Adventure Isle, with a network of stairs and wooden walkways leading through the Robinson familys treetop home. Rooms built among the branches include living and sleeping areas, a kitchen and library, filled with furniture, equipment and possessions constructed from materials salvaged following the familys shipwreck. Water is carried high into the tree using an elaborate system of buckets and a waterwheel before flowing through the different levels of the treehouse.
Swiss Family Robinson was released by Walt Disney Productions in 1960 and was based on Johann David Wysss 1812 novel The Swiss Family Robinson. The film follows the Robinson family after they are shipwrecked on an island and construct an elaborate home in a giant tree using materials recovered from their damaged ship. The film starred John Mills, Dorothy McGuire, James MacArthur, Janet Munro, Tommy Kirk and Kevin Corcoran.
The original Swiss Family Treehouse opened at Disneyland in California in 1962, with Imagineer Bill Martin developing the attraction and Wolfgang Reitherman, who designed the treehouse for the film, also contributing to the project. Walt Disney Worlds Swiss Family Treehouse opened with Magic Kingdom in 1971 and continues to operate in Adventureland. Disneylands original version became Tarzans Treehouse in 1999 before being completely reimagined as Adventureland Treehouse, which opened in 2023 and returned to a concept inspired by the Swiss Family Robinson story.
La Cabane des Robinson forms part of Adventure Isle, the large Adventureland island containing pathways, bridges, caves, waterfalls and Skull Rock. Elsewhere in Adventureland are Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril, Aladdins Enchanted Passage and the surrounding landscapes inspired by distant expeditions and adventure stories.
Disneyland Park opened as Euro Disneyland on 12th April 1992 and consists of Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland, arranged around Sleeping Beauty Castle at the centre of the park.
Disneyland Paris is located in Chessy, around 32 km east of Paris and includes Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World, Disney Village and Disney Hotels. Disney Adventure World expanded significantly in 2026 with World of Frozen, Adventure Way and Adventure Bay, while further development continues with The Pride Lands, La Terre des Lions, inspired by Disneys The Lion King.

Costumes from each Hogwarts house line the walls, while the teachers table sits proudly beneath Professor Dumbledores lectern and the famous House Points Counter, which is rumoured to have caused a national shortage of Indian glass beads when it was first created for filming.
First built in 2000 for Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, the Great Hall became the heart of Hogwarts throughout the Harry Potter film series. It provided the setting for the Sorting Ceremony, memorable feasts, Christmas celebrations, the Yule Ball preparations, and the Battle of Hogwarts, making it one of the most recognisable sets ever constructed for the Wizarding World.
The First Year at Hogwarts event runs from 7th May to 7th September 2026 and celebrates the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. Throughout the Studio Tour, guests can discover original props, costumes, interactive displays, Wizard Chess pieces, Fluffy the three-headed dog, the Secrets of Sound Effects show, and special experiences inspired by Harry Potters first year at Hogwarts.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter opened in 2012 at Leavesden Studios, where all eight Harry Potter films were produced. The attraction showcases authentic sets, costumes, props, creature effects, and filmmaking secrets from the Wizarding World. Similar Studio Tours can also be found in Tokyo and Hollywood.
Leavesden Studios is also home to the upcoming HBO Harry Potter television series starring Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. The new adaptation is expected to premiere in 2026.

[4K] Vild Swing at Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, join us for a full on ride experience on the UK’s first ART Engineering Wild Swing as we soar high above Paultons Park on this gravity defying Viking themed flat ride.
Vild Swing is a brand new attraction at Valgard: Realm of the Vikings and brings a completely new ride experience to UKs theme park. Opening as part of Paultons Park’s major Viking themed expansion on 16th May 2026, Vild Swing is the first ART Engineering Wild Swing installation in the United Kingdom and introduces a unique Top Spin style family thrill ride unlike anything previously seen in the country.
Standing approximately 12 metres tall, Vild Swing features a free swinging gondola with sixteen individual seats, eight on each side. Unlike more extreme Top Spin rides, Vild Swing does not perform full inversions, instead focusing on sustained swinging intensity and repeated gravity defying motion.
Manufactured by German ride specialist ART Engineering, Vild Swing represents a major milestone both for Paultons Park and for UK attractions as a whole. Riders experience sweeping pendulum style motion that simulates storm tossed Viking voyages, fitting perfectly within the Norse mythology and exploration theme of Valgard.
Height restrictions for Vild Swing require riders to be at least 95cm tall, making it one of the more accessible thrill rides at Paultons Park. Younger guests under park guidelines must ride accompanied, allowing families to experience this major new attraction together.
Valgard: Realm of the Vikings is one of the most ambitious themed lands ever developed at Paultons Park. Alongside Vild Swing, the area includes Drakon, the park’s first ever inverting roller coaster built by Gerstlauer, featuring a vertical lift hill, beyond vertical drop and inversions.
Valgard also includes Raven, the rethemed former Cobra coaster, transformed into a Viking scout themed bobsled style family ride. For younger guests, The Orchard Playground offers climbing towers, slides, net swings and Viking themed exploration, while the impressive Nordic Feasting Hall provides a major themed dining destination.
Paultons Park, located in Hampshire’s New Forest, continues to evolve as one of the UK’s leading family theme parks. The park is home to more than 70 rides and attractions including Peppa Pig World, the world’s first Peppa Pig themed land opened in 2011, Lost Kingdom, featuring dinosaur themed attractions such as Velociraptor, Flight of the Pterosaur and Splash Lagoon, Tornado Springs, home to Storm Chaser, Cyclonator, Buffalo Falls and Al’s Auto Academy, and Ghostly Manor, the interactive dark ride that opened in 2025.
With Valgard now open, Paultons Park continues its rapid expansion with its a major new water ride planned for 2027. Paultons Park annouced at the Super Fans Event 2026, the UKs first Water Coaster, Serpents Curse, to join Valgard: Realm of the Vikings

Mammut (Mammoth) is a family mine train roller coaster located at Gardaland Resort, offering a fast paced ride through an Arctic themed environment. Opened in 2008 and manufactured by Vekoma, Mammut is one of the longest family coasters at the park, featuring over 1000 metres of track, multiple lift hills and a layout designed around speed, twists and changing direction.
The Mammut Coaster begins as trains leave the station and climb the first of three lift hills, setting up a series of fast turns and sudden direction changes. The layout continues with 16 changes of direction, weaving through the icy themed landscape while maintaining a strong sense of speed throughout. The Arctic theme is brought to life with rockwork, frozen scenery and the presence of a giant mammoth, creating the feeling of an expedition through a dangerous frozen environment where escape is the only option.
Mammut was built on a 5,000 square metre area previously occupied by paid attractions, transforming the space into a fully themed coaster experience. As a custom mine train coaster, it offers a balance of accessibility and excitement, making Mammut one of the most popular attractions for guests looking for a longer ride experience without inversions. Its combination of length, pacing and theme makes it a key part of the Gardaland coaster lineup.
Gardaland Resort is one of Europe’s most visited theme park destinations, located near Lake Garda in northern Italy. The park features a wide range of attractions including major roller coasters such as Raptor, Oblivion The Black Hole, Blue Tornado and Shaman, alongside water rides like Fuga da Atlantide and Jungle Rapids. Recent additions including Animal Treasure Island and Jumanji themed attractions continue to expand the resort, making Gardaland a major destination for theme park visitors in Italy.
