Did you know that one of the best times to meet the Peppa Pig characters at Peppa Pig World is often shortly after Paultons Park opens? On many busy days and during school holidays, Peppa Pig, George Pig, Daddy Pig, Mummy Pig, Baby Evie, Rebecca Rabbit, Suzy Sheep and other favourite characters can sometimes be seen walking around Peppa Pig World before heading to their scheduled meet and greet locations. This creates fantastic opportunities for photos, hugs, high fives and memorable family moments with much shorter queues.
These early morning Peppa Pig character appearances are not guaranteed and can vary depending on the day, season and operational requirements. They are most commonly seen during busier periods and school holidays, so if you're lucky enough to spot the characters walking around Peppa Pig World, it's a brilliant way to begin your day at Paultons Park.

[4K] Vild Swing at Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, join us for a full on ride experience on the UK’s first ART Engineering Wild Swing as we soar high above Paultons Park on this gravity defying Viking themed flat ride.
Vild Swing is a brand new attraction at Valgard: Realm of the Vikings and brings a completely new ride experience to UKs theme park. Opening as part of Paultons Park’s major Viking themed expansion on 16th May 2026, Vild Swing is the first ART Engineering Wild Swing installation in the United Kingdom and introduces a unique Top Spin style family thrill ride unlike anything previously seen in the country.
Standing approximately 12 metres tall, Vild Swing features a free swinging gondola with sixteen individual seats, eight on each side. Unlike more extreme Top Spin rides, Vild Swing does not perform full inversions, instead focusing on sustained swinging intensity and repeated gravity defying motion.
Manufactured by German ride specialist ART Engineering, Vild Swing represents a major milestone both for Paultons Park and for UK attractions as a whole. Riders experience sweeping pendulum style motion that simulates storm tossed Viking voyages, fitting perfectly within the Norse mythology and exploration theme of Valgard.
Height restrictions for Vild Swing require riders to be at least 95cm tall, making it one of the more accessible thrill rides at Paultons Park. Younger guests under park guidelines must ride accompanied, allowing families to experience this major new attraction together.
Valgard: Realm of the Vikings is one of the most ambitious themed lands ever developed at Paultons Park. Alongside Vild Swing, the area includes Drakon, the park’s first ever inverting roller coaster built by Gerstlauer, featuring a vertical lift hill, beyond vertical drop and inversions.
Valgard also includes Raven, the rethemed former Cobra coaster, transformed into a Viking scout themed bobsled style family ride. For younger guests, The Orchard Playground offers climbing towers, slides, net swings and Viking themed exploration, while the impressive Nordic Feasting Hall provides a major themed dining destination.
Paultons Park, located in Hampshire’s New Forest, continues to evolve as one of the UK’s leading family theme parks. The park is home to more than 70 rides and attractions including Peppa Pig World, the world’s first Peppa Pig themed land opened in 2011, Lost Kingdom, featuring dinosaur themed attractions such as Velociraptor, Flight of the Pterosaur and Splash Lagoon, Tornado Springs, home to Storm Chaser, Cyclonator, Buffalo Falls and Al’s Auto Academy, and Ghostly Manor, the interactive dark ride that opened in 2025.

Mammut (Mammoth) is a family mine train roller coaster located at Gardaland Resort, offering a fast paced ride through an Arctic themed environment. Opened in 2008 and manufactured by Vekoma, Mammut is one of the longest family coasters at the park, featuring over 1000 metres of track, multiple lift hills and a layout designed around speed, twists and changing direction.
The Mammut Coaster begins as trains leave the station and climb the first of three lift hills, setting up a series of fast turns and sudden direction changes. The layout continues with 16 changes of direction, weaving through the icy themed landscape while maintaining a strong sense of speed throughout. The Arctic theme is brought to life with rockwork, frozen scenery and the presence of a giant mammoth, creating the feeling of an expedition through a dangerous frozen environment where escape is the only option.
Mammut was built on a 5,000 square metre area previously occupied by paid attractions, transforming the space into a fully themed coaster experience. As a custom mine train coaster, it offers a balance of accessibility and excitement, making Mammut one of the most popular attractions for guests looking for a longer ride experience without inversions. Its combination of length, pacing and theme makes it a key part of the Gardaland coaster lineup.
Gardaland Resort is one of Europe’s most visited theme park destinations, located near Lake Garda in northern Italy. The park features a wide range of attractions including major roller coasters such as Raptor, Oblivion The Black Hole, Blue Tornado and Shaman, alongside water rides like Fuga da Atlantide and Jungle Rapids. Recent additions including Animal Treasure Island and Jumanji themed attractions continue to expand the resort, making Gardaland a major destination for theme park visitors in Italy.

La Tanière du Dragon, translated as The Lair of the Dragon and commonly known as Dragons Lair, is a walkthrough attraction beneath Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant in Fantasyland. It opened with Disneyland Park on 12th April 1992 and remains an attraction unique to Disneyland Paris.
The cavern is home to a huge Audio-Animatronic dragon measuring around 27 metres from head to tail. At the time Disneyland Paris opened, it was the largest Audio-Animatronic figure Disney had created. The dragon rests chained among the rocks before periodically awakening, raising its head, moving and growling as smoke emerges from its nostrils. La Tanière du Dragon underwent a significant refurbishment in 2023, with upgraded themed lighting and show controls, improvements to the figure and new black-light effects designed to enhance the dragon as it awakens.
Walt Disney Imagineering developed La Tanière du Dragon during the creation of Disneyland Paris, with Imagineer Terri Hardin working on the attraction. An early concept proposed the skeletal remains of Maleficents dragon beneath the castle, but the finished attraction instead features a complete living dragon.
Above the cavern stands Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant, the Sleeping Beauty Castle created specifically for Disneyland Paris. The castle opened with the park in 1992 and combines the story of Disneys 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty with architecture influenced by European castles and French design. Inside is La Galerie de la Belle au Bois Dormant, where stained glass windows, tapestries and other displays tell the story of Princess Aurora and Sleeping Beauty.
Disneyland Park was the first theme park to open at Disneyland Paris on 12th April 1992, originally operating as Euro Disneyland. Its themed lands include Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland, with attractions including Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Phantom Manor, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain and Peter Pans Flight.
Disneyland Paris is located in Chessy, approximately 32 km east of Paris. The resort includes Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World, Disney Village and several Disney Hotels. Disney Adventure World entered a new era in 2026 with World of Frozen, featuring the Kingdom of Arendelle and Frozen Ever After, while the future Pride Lands, known in French as La Terre des Lions, will continue the expansion of Disneyland Paris.

Located in Amity Cove next to Storm Surge, the Thorpe Park Megastore is the largest retail location in the resort, offering a wide selection of Thorpe Park merchandise, ride-themed souvenirs, snacks, drinks and essentials. The store features multiple entrances including access from The Walking Dead: The Ride photo area, making it a central shopping location within the park.
Guests can browse a wide range of items including hoodies, t-shirts, caps, mugs, magnets, plush toys, pin badges and gifts inspired by major attractions such as Hyperia, Saw The Ride, Stealth, Colossus, Nemesis Inferno and The Walking Dead: The Ride. Annual Pass holders can receive discounts on purchases by presenting their pass at the till.
For the 2026 season, the Thorpe Park merchandise range continues with updated designs and colour schemes across clothing and accessories, with Hyperia remaining a key feature following its opening in 2024 as the UK’s tallest and fastest roller coaster. The Megastore remains the best place in the park to find the widest variety of branded merchandise in one location.
Thorpe Park Resort in Surrey has been one of the UK’s leading theme parks since opening in 1979 and is operated by Merlin Entertainments. Known for its high-thrill roller coasters and attractions, the park continues to evolve with ongoing investment across its areas and infrastructure.
Work is progressing in Thorpe Parks Amity Cove area with the redevelopment of the former Amity Beach into a new space known as The Launchpad. This area is designed to provide seating, shaded areas and space to relax between rides, alongside food and drink options. Part of the original beach area remains in use
Elsewhere in the park, Rumba Rapids has now closed, with no replacement announced at this time, marking another change to the park’s ride lineup as Thorpe Park continues to develop its offering.

Disney Tales of Magic is the signature nighttime spectacular at Disneyland Park, debuting on 10th January 2025 as the successor to Disney Dreams! and Disney Illuminations. The approximately 20-minute production combines projection mapping, pyrotechnics, lasers, architectural lighting, an immersive audio system and an original soundtrack to transform Sleeping Beauty Castle and, for the first time in a Disneyland Paris nighttime spectacular, the buildings of Main Street, U.S.A.
Disney and Pixar stories featured throughout Disney Tales of Magic include Cinderella, Pinocchio, Mary Poppins, Inside Out, WALL-E, Beauty and the Beast, Up, Coco, The Lion King, Encanto, Lilo & Stitch and Toy Story. More than 20 Disney and Pixar songs are incorporated into the soundtrack alongside the original song Live in Magic, performed in French and English and accompanied by a 100-piece orchestra recorded at AIR Studios in London.
For August 2026, Disney Tales of Magic is presented in its modified format without drones. From 4th May 2026, the production was adapted during refurbishment work around Sleeping Beauty Castle, with the fountain effects removed and additional pyrotechnic sequences introduced. This makes the 2026 performance a different version of the production that originally premiered in January 2025.
Sleeping Beauty Castle, known as Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant, has stood at the heart of Disneyland Park since opening day in 1992. The fairytale castle rises at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., the parks early 20th-century American-inspired entrance avenue lined with shops, restaurants and period architecture. Disney Tales of Magic extends its projections along Main Street, allowing the buildings to become part of scenes including Cinderellas ballroom, the world of Encanto and the colourful memory spheres of Inside Out.
Disneyland Park opened on 12th April 1992 as Euro Disneyland and is the original theme park at Disneyland Paris. Its themed lands include Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland, with attractions including Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Phantom Manor, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Peter Pans Flight and Its a Small World.
Disneyland Paris is located in Chessy, approximately 32 km east of Paris and has developed considerably since opening in 1992. The resort now includes Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World, Disney Village and several Disney Hotels. Disney Adventure World entered a new era in 2026 with World of Frozen joining Worlds of Pixar and Avengers Campus, while the future Pride Lands will bring a major new area inspired by Disneys The Lion King to the expanding second park.

The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu brings together more than 150 years of motoring history, from pioneering steam carriages to classic cars, motorcycles, Formula 1 machines and British Land Speed Record breakers. Following a major redevelopment in 2026, the museum features a redesigned entrance hall and upper gallery, home to the new Driven: Britain’s Motoring Story exhibition.
Founded in 1952 by Edward Montagu, 3rd Baron Montagu of Beaulieu, as a tribute to his father John Montagu, an early British motoring pioneer, the museum began with just five cars inside Palace House. The collection expanded, leading to the purpose-built National Motor Museum opening in 1972.
The collection spans motoring history with road cars, motorcycles, racing cars and Land Speed Record vehicles. Highlights include Bluebird CN7, Golden Arrow, Sunbeam 350hp and Sunbeam 1000hp.
New for 2026 is Driven: Britains Motoring Story. The £600,000 redevelopment has transformed the entrance and upper galleries, exploring the social and cultural history of motoring and its impact on British life.
Driven: Britains Motoring Story covers five periods, from early motoring pioneers through mass production and the Motorway Age to the challenges of the 1970s and the relationship between cars, technology and the environment.
Vehicles include the 1875 Grenville Steam Carriage, the oldest self-propelled British passenger-carrying road vehicle still in working order, and a 1910 Bugatti Type 15, believed to be the oldest surviving Bugatti in Britain. Other highlights include a 1954 Triumph TR2, 1959 Austin Mini Seven, Ford Capri 1600L, Hillman Imp and Jensen Interceptor.
More recent motoring is represented by the Citroën 2CV, Ford Sierra RS Cosworth and BMW 325i Cabriolet, alongside newer technology including the Chameleon 3D electric vehicle, Tesla Model S chassis and Volkswagen XL1.
Interactive displays examine how cars influenced British society and everyday life using archive film, photographs and audio. The gallery also recognises people who shaped motoring history, including safety belt inventor Nils Bohlin and the Ford sewing machinists whose strike contributed to the Equal Pay Act 1970.
A new Spotlight display showcases significant vehicles, beginning with an early 1961 Jaguar E-Type, one of the earliest right-hand-drive examples produced.
Elsewhere, Driving Change explores automotive engineering, while The Motorcycle Story follows motorcycle development. A Chequered History celebrates Formula 1, rallying and competition cars, while For Britain & For the Hell of It covers Britains pursuit of Land Speed Records.
Jack Tuckers Garage recreates a 1930s motor workshop, Streets Ahead recalls motoring from the 1950s to the 1970s, and The Luxury of Motoring features 28 Lalique glass car mascots.

Step into the opulent, marble-lined Gringotts Wizarding Bank in this full walkthrough of one of the most impressive areas at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. Gringotts Wizarding Bank is located in Diagon Alley and first appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, where Hagrid and Harry visited the famous wizarding bank after Harrys first trip into the magical world.
Guests can walk through the breathtaking banking hall complete with towering marble pillars, goblin teller desks, ledgers, coins, and crystal chandeliers. The entire set has been meticulously recreated with original props and incredible detail, including over 210,000 coins created for the final two Harry Potter films.
Beyond the main hall, visitors descend into the depths of the bank to explore the Lestrange Vault, filled with mountains of enchanted treasure. Among the piles of gold are key items from the final chapters of the saga, including Helga Hufflepuffs Cup, one of Voldemorts Horcruxes, and the Sword of Gryffindor. More than 38,000 pieces of treasure were created for this scene, including thousands of replica Hufflepuff cups.
The finale of the walkthrough features the dramatic Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon escape, brought to life with sound, lighting, and motion effects as the dragon crashes through Gringotts in a spectacular recreation of the scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
Gringotts is located near the end of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, directly after the Creature Effects area and before the Hogwarts Castle model. During the 2026 First Year at Hogwarts event, running from 7th May to 7th September, guests can celebrate the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone with special displays, original props, interactive experiences, and behind-the-scenes secrets from the very first Harry Potter film.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter opened in 2012 at Leavesden Studios, where all eight Harry Potter films were produced. The tour showcases authentic sets, costumes, props, creature effects, and filmmaking techniques from the Wizarding World. Similar Studio Tour attractions can also be found in Tokyo and Hollywood.
Leavesden Studios is also home to the upcoming HBO Harry Potter television series. The new adaptation stars Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, with filming taking place next to the Studio Tour ahead of its expected 2026 debut.

A Celebration in Arendelle is the signature daytime show at World of Frozen, transforming the waters of Arendelle Bay into a floating stage surrounded by the Kingdom of Arendelle, its castle and the snow-covered North Mountain. The musical spectacular opened alongside World of Frozen on 29 March 2026 and is performed several times throughout the day.
The story centres around the Snowflower Festival, celebrating the moment Anna saved Elsa through an act of true love. Three elaborately decorated Viking longships sail across the bay carrying Anna and Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf, and the villagers of Arendelle. The villagers attempt to recreate the symbolic snowflower as a surprise for the royal sisters, with Olaf adding his own unpredictable contribution to the celebrations.
A Celebration in Arendelle was conceived by directors Françoise Baffioni and Matteo Borghi, with Arendelle Bay designed to become part of the performance itself. Each Viking-inspired boat acts as a moving stage, combining live performers, music and characters against the backdrop of the Kingdom of Arendelle.
World of Frozen opened at Disney Adventure World on 29 March 2026, bringing a life-sized recreation of the Kingdom of Arendelle to Disneyland Paris. The land is home to Frozen Ever After, A Celebration in Arendelle, character encounters with Anna and Elsa, Nordic Crowns Tavern, Arendelle Boutique and Fjord View Shop. Set after the events of Frozen and before Frozen II, its story follows Queen Elsas Summer Snow Day celebrations during a period of peace and prosperity in Arendelle.
Frozen was released by Disney Animation in 2013 and became one of the most successful animated films ever made, introducing audiences to sisters Anna and Elsa alongside Olaf, Kristoff and Sven. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersens The Snow Queen, its worldwide success led to Frozen Fever in 2015 and Frozen II in 2019, expanding the characters and stories that have inspired World of Frozen.
Disney Adventure World opened under its new name in March 2026 following the extensive transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park. The park now focuses on immersive themed worlds based on Disney, Pixar and Marvel stories, including World of Frozen and Avengers Campus.
Disneyland Paris opened in 1992 and has grown into Europes leading tourist destination. The resort is home to Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World, Disney Village and several Disney Hotels, combining classic Disney attractions with exclusive entertainment and experiences.
