Hey look at that, I managed to complete a video that wasn't a MEP part, go me :P
Truth be told I had been chipping away at this since last year, I ended up with a project 20+ layers and my poor Vegas and poor computer had issues rendering the entire thing together because it became so gargantuan, it was rather frustrating but I found a glass of wine was my comfort lol
.. I need to stop drinking and editing x'D
This particular video started out with the idea of Vergil's POV first, in his quest to find Dante, alongside Kat facing the demons to where it switched to Dante's POV as he then fought against numerous demons including Mundus.
This is the first of 6 full length videos that I have planned for 2016, if you follow me on Facebook you would be seeing the updates on those projects

It has been an honor to be able to collab with Shelby, they came to me with the proposal of a collab and not just any collab.. a DEVIL MAY CRY collab and they had me at hello.
Considering they has very little edited to DMC I was just so impressed with their editing skills, they complimented my style so well, at times I was watching this in render and was like ..wait when did the part change from mine to theirs? so thank you Shelby, I greatly enjoyed editing this with you!

This project went very smoothly, we set ourselves deadlines and contantly inspired each other and gave each other feedback on each of our parts until both all of our parts were mwah perfection!
We went with the overarching themes of Devil may Cry, starting with Dantes inner demons with his family connections of Nero and Vergil and trying to bring them all together as close as we can to the lyrics and theme of the song - I feel we did very well - im so proud of this collab!
This is literally a perfect ending to 2019 and I cant wait to bring on 2020 - its gonna be a bash!

A month ago my good friend on Youtube Denraz14 asked me to edit something using a song he had remixed. I was allowed to use anything I wanted so naturally Id use Devil May Cry.

It also gave me a chance to edit the new Special Edition scenes, I got to say I am happy they made new cutscenes so some parts of the story do kind of fit together but still not happy they didnt try to explain Neros origin. Who the hell is Nero anyway? Where the hell did he come from? Spawned from the void that is Capcoms brain.

Hello everyone!
Every year, I have host a MEP on my channel as a showcase of the friends, editing skills and new techniques I have come across during the year.
This one is a bit special because this year was my 15th year anniversary on Youtube, and felt it appropiate to edit something very special with my editing buddies.
the song should give a hint of my motivations for my username.
Imagine 15 year old me in music theory class in high school learning about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, absolutely becoming infatuated with Requiem Lacrimosa in D minor.
then the following year Evanescence drops her Open Door album with what ya know, a version of Lacrimosa - dubbed Lacrymosa.
It was my favourite song allthroughout my teens and when I created my Youtube channel and it required a username.. me going YISSS THIS IS PERFECT only to discover it had already been taken! xD so I added an i at the end and here we are
Ive considered changing my username so many times but no, I dont think I ever will. The name symbolizes too much for me to just simply change it.

This MEP was initially supposed to be a MEP hosted for Devils Symphony Studio back in 2016 but unfortunately the studio died abruptly before I could host it.
So instead of waiting another 2 years for the studio to miraciously revive itself, I thought fuck it, Ill host it myself!
This MEP I wanted to focus on pacing, flow and steady emotional clips. Ive been wanting to try out this style of editing but wasnt too sure where to start. So I asked a few good friends of mine to help teach me how to edit slow and steady - using only fades as transitons, nearly raw but not quite. It was a hard challenge to overcome and only repeatition will get me to where I want to go in my editing so with more experience I can broaden my horizons. This MEP was enjoyable challenge as the song is quite unique for the editing style I requested but these awesome people stood up to the challenge and delivered!

For Classic Cinematography Challenge || Vidding Contest

This is my submission for MariaWallaces Cinematography Vidding Contest.
The theme was to showcase a tragic, yet beautiful story.
I decided to go with Sucker Punch, I have always found this movie to be both tragic and beautiful at the same time.
For a few reasons, it starts off with BabyDoll getting commited into an Asylum framed of murdering her sister, where she meets Sweet Pea, a girl who has been there for awhile, her spirit broken and her soul crushed.
BabyDolls objective was to escape before she was to be labotomised, but then she realized that she was the one to save Sweet Pea, so they both can have freedom. Sweet Pea escaped with BabyDolls deep sacrifice so I tried to explain that BabyDoll is Sweet Peas guardian angel and was there to save her but only by sacrificing herself.
I found that beautiful but so sad and tragic at the same time.
I hope you have enjoyed this video.
I actually only made it within 16 hours, I had been so busy over the Christmas period that I had forgotten the deadline.
