For Classic Cinematography Challenge || Vidding Contest
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
This is my submission for MariaWallace's Cinematography Vidding Contest.
The theme was to showcase a tragic, yet beautiful story.
I decided to go with Sucker Punch, I have always found this movie to be both tragic and beautiful at the same time.
For a few reasons, it starts off with BabyDoll getting commited into an Asylum framed of murdering her sister, where she meets Sweet Pea, a girl who has been there for awhile, her spirit broken and her soul crushed.
BabyDoll's objective was to escape before she was to be labotomised, but then she realized that she was the one to save Sweet Pea, so they both can have freedom. Sweet Pea escaped with BabyDoll's deep sacrifice so I tried to explain that BabyDoll is Sweet Pea's guardian angel and was there to save her but only by sacrificing herself.
I found that beautiful but so sad and tragic at the same time.
I hope you have enjoyed this video.
I actually only made it within 16 hours, I had been so busy over the Christmas period that I had forgotten the deadline.
