Adjusting the bias strength and the bias traps.
The Mk3 has bias traps on the input preamp and on the output, to minimise the 70Khz bias signal on the audio signal.
The bias strength generally needs to be equal on the 2 tracks to get equal outputs. Set them by ear and then fine tune with the oscilloscope.
The bias traps are set to a minimum bias signal breakthrough, by adjusting the inductor slugs.
