I went all the way back to NBA Live 96 in 2026 to see how this classic basketball game holds up over 30 years later.

NBA Live 96 comes from an era when basketball games were simple, fast, and all about having fun. No MyTEAM, no VC, no crazy builds — just pick a team and hoop. In this video, we're revisiting the gameplay, graphics, presentation, rosters, and that old-school EA Sports feeling that made the NBA Live series legendary.

And of course, we gotta show some love to Grant Hill and the Detroit Pistons era!
