Delving into the history and the music of a seminal compilation LP - the only Lennon collection released in his lifetime, with his personal involvement. Spanning 1969 to 1974, its track list begins before the Beatles broke up, and ends just as John was about to begin his five-year sabbatical from the music business. In its grooves are some of the most famous tracks Lennon ever waxed, and some of the most controversial and notorious. Oh yes, and it's named after a Japanese recipe.
