The follow-up to the critical renaissance (sort of) of 'Flowers in the Dirt', 1993's 'Off the Ground' was deliberately designed to be a live-sounding 'band album' that McCartney and his combo could take on the road...which they duly did.
In this video, Ross Goodall and I discuss this deep entry in Macca's catalogue, an album that seemed like quite big news at the time of release, but which has since rather fallen into the cracks of history, eclipsed by both its predecessor and its sequel, 'Flaming Pie'.
