Four weeks ago I tried the Cosmelan Peel to get rid of the hyper pigmentation on my face. My skin was pretty wrecked after the peel but I healed in about 2-3 weeks and this is the full review of my experience.
Before the Cosmelan, I had tried just about everything to get rid of the melasma, from hydroquinone, to IPL, to the VI Peel, to Q Switch lasers. Nothing worked. The Cosmelan was my last effort to fix the spots on my face and fortunately I had a pretty solid outcome.
Sadly the results don't last forever so this is something I will have to do again if I want to keep the spots away, but to be honest I'm just happy to have found something that works.
If you struggle with sun spots, age spots, or any kind of hyper-pigmentation, I definitely recommend asking your doctor about the Cosmelan Peel because it's the only thing that made any difference for me.
