My thoughts on the JVC GY HM170 and HM200 4K camcorders after having one on loan from JVC Professional Europe to test for a couple of weeks.

PLEASE NOTE: this video has been recompressed extensively, first by me as a master file to XAVC-S 60Mb, then through Handbrake to a smaller (3GB!) mp4 for upload, then by YouTube. Thus the video quality is NOT representative of the camcorder files. There's nothing I can do about this.
