I've been using this quilt for about 2 months now and its definitely my new favorite summer TQ! Compared to my others ( Snugpak, DIY ), its softer, lighter, and sized much better. As you can see, its only ugly due to the simple method he uses for putting them together and not its overall design.
As far as price goes they are definitely affordable for a handmade in the USA cottage quilt, and that's exactly what you get : a quilt that's made just like any other cottage company's quilts yet priced like a high end mass produced quilt. For the 50° that I got, its base price was $95, plus $10 for the woodland camo fabric, here is the link hemlockmountainoutdoors.com/collections/uglyquilt/products/uglyquilt-top-50. I also had him make it a custom short length ( 60" ) which didn't cost extra.
Now, they are made to order so that means he orders the fabric from his supplier AND THEN puts it together, which also means there is a bit of a wait time. That said, it's still waaaaay less than if you ordered from someplace like HG, UGQ or Warbonett.
Overall I couldn't be happier with it and the extremely amazing level of customer service that Kurt gives. You should absolutely go check him out and place an order! When you do, use the code Chesapeake for %10 off !!!!
