sew_through_time | Reversible bath robe but make it 18th century! making an 18th century wrapper @sewthroughtime | Uploaded November 2022 | Updated October 2024, 34 minutes ago.
In this video, I make the coziest lounging robe, an 18th-century wrapper. I completely hand sew this using an 18th-century method of bag lining the garment that makes it extremely fast and easy to sew up! making this the perfect beginner sewing project!
I make mine by just drawing out the shapes directly onto the fabric but if you would prefer a pattern I recommend this

@BurnleyandTrowbridge have a full tutorial on how to make this wrapping gown and a big shout out to them for showing so clearly how to do this and making my sewing much easier.
