Vindsvept, fantasy music | Return to the Surface - Fantasy/Folk Music @Vindsvept | Uploaded April 2022 | Updated October 2024, 5 days ago.
Hello lovely people! Most musicians that work digitally usually use some sort of template they have been working on and in for years. When I start a new tune, I always start with a completely empty project. When you do that, every now and then you get a strange mix of stuff. While I really do enjoy having a piano or guitar based foundation most of the time, it's fun not to include either and just fill out the spectrum with other noisy, pingy and stringy things. This is very unpolished and rough, and I didn't want to remove the bumps and scratches. It feels damp, dark and mysterious, hence the name of the song. By the way, who says that you need to buy a bunch of expensive percussion when you've got lots of pots and pans?
Anyway, here's one of the weirdest songs of the year. I hope you like it!
