Vindsvept, fantasy music | Veiled in Light - Fantasy music @Vindsvept | Uploaded November 2020 | Updated October 2024, 5 days ago.
I haven't done a weird one in a while. This is probably the strangest mix of instruments I've ever had in a tune. There are 5 different pianos, everything from felted to piano harmonics. There's a bunch of electric guitar all over the place and deep rythmical drums. Originally I wanted indie-pop styled drums but when I was playing around with it I ended up using just the rims of the drums and did it in a bunch of layers. It wouldn't be a Vindsvept tune without a couple of flutes, lyres and harps. And there you have it, a strange mix. With all the delays and effects I thought it felt a bit clouded, a bit mysterious so I thought Veiled in Light was a fitting name.
I hope you enjoyed this little tune. There was supposed to be a music video this week but we had to postpone that until the next release. There's a lot going on as we're moving next month and we have a lot of preparation to do.
