Oh boy, Uncle HiTop Films is finally is talking about something that isn't superhero stuff. Instead he is talking about Silent Hill. Rather, The Silent Hill 2 movie, rather the Return to Silent Hill movie. Believe it or not I am a horror fan and one of my favorite horror franchises is Silent Hill, specially Silent Hill 2, both the Silent Hill 2 Remake and the original. It's the perfect blend of all my favorite kinda horror stories.
Unfortunately, Return to Silent Hill is a Tragic Failure. Indeed, Return to Silent Hill Broke Me. For sure, Return to Silent Hill is a disgrace.
Tragic because I love the story of James Sunderland, tragic because to treat Mary like this is straight nonsense, to treat Pyramid Head like a mascot is nuts. But most of all tragic because a Silent Hill 2 Movie is one of my dream projects, truly, no lie, not for the algorithm, I've always wanted to adapt the story of Silent Hill 2.
But alas, that will never happen so you are left with the Christophe Gans, tale, which results in my Silent Hill Video essay, which ultimately results in a simple Return to Silent Hill Rant.
