Finally. This has been demanded for years, and hopefully I, HiTop Films, delivered perhaps the ultimate (definitely) the longest Spider-Man Video Essay. This wraps up the long form Sam Raimi Spider-Man and Marc Webb Spider-Man Series. This was a complicated one to talk about, as you all know, I find so many redeeming quality in The Amazing Spider-Man 1, hence why one of my favorite videos I’ve ever made was indeed Marc Webb’s (Kinda) Amazing Spider-Man. So to talk about The Amazing Spider-Man 2, I had to find the perfect title to summarize my feelings and what I ended up with was Marc Webb’s (Should’ve Been) Amazing Spider-Man 2. Because it really should have been so much better than the beautiful sums of its parts. I really wish Marc Webb, Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and the entire cast and crew could have gotten their full cuts released, could’ve gotten a chance to try again and continue the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man Universe. But, such is life, and now we have The Sony Spider-Man Universe. God, I forgot just how many Deleted Scenes The Amazing Spider-Man 2 had, I forgot all about how Great Dane Dehaan Harry Osborn is, and how Jamie Foxx Electro feels like he belongs in a different movie.
