Retropalooza in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is officially coming to an end, and it’s honestly the end of an era. From its start in Arlington back in 2013 to its final show this May at the Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, this convention has meant so much to me and so many others in the retro gaming community. In this video, I’m sharing some of my favorite memories from the show, including a really cool pickup I found, how I met Cierra, 8-bit Eric, My Retro Life, OkChief, and others at Retropalooza, and just what made this event so special over the years. Huge thanks to Jay from The Game Chasers for creating and hosting such an unforgettable experience; while DFW says goodbye, it’s great to know Houston Retropalooza will continue. RIP to a legendary DFW convention.
