Matthew Perry’s passion for gaming is taking center stage at Heritage Auctions, where a remarkable portion of his personal video game collection is headed to the block. Highlights include a massive lot of 34 factory-sealed GameCube and Game Boy Advance games—featuring titles such as SSX Tricky, Star Wars Rogue Squadron II, Advance Wars 2, Planet of the Apes, and Spider-Man—alongside two complete-in-box GBA classics. Also drawing major attention is an unused, complete-in-box Jet Black Nintendo GameCube from the system’s 2001 launch period, preserved in exceptional condition and accompanied by provenance from Perry’s estate. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Matthew Perry Foundation, giving collectors a rare opportunity to own a piece of gaming and Hollywood history. I also show off an original Banksy painting he owned.
