Really interesting idea of a hack. Collab of a lot of different creators with no difficulty curve and all levels are accessible from the start, similar to japanese community battle hack. Most levels were pretty decent and were pretty fun, but my 2nd session of this was such insane misery.
Also the RA point system is known for being nonsense, but this set takes it to a whole new level. You have an achievement for beating the level and one for getting all yoshi coins. For example you get 5 points for beating a level, but only 2 or 3 points for yoshi coins. You have to go through the entire level and have 5 extra challenges + you are not even allowed to use the checkpoint and then get rewarded with less points??
5:16:55 is the hardest level of the game and only gives 5 points. There were 3 or 4 levels that gave 10 points and while they were all hard and certainly deserve 10 points, they were absolutely no trouble in comparison to that hell.
6:36:49 is also 5 points, so according to RA those 2 levels are very similar in difficulty, when this one is just completely free. The only somewhat challenging aspect of the level is the yoshi coins and those are worth 3.
That was just one example, but this entire set has that nonsense point system. There were 2 point achievements I ended up having to savestate practice and then levels like the forest one exists, which give a couple more points, while being almost no challenge.
Despite that point system and some really frustrating moment I still like this hack and I plan on doing more of these in the future.
