In this video I'm going to talk about how to capture video from mda / hercules / cga or ega video sources, typically found on old retro computers. I'll be using the MCE2VGA device, along with a new firmware created specifically with video capturing in mind.
The goal will be to feed those video signals into a common off-the-shelf video capturing device, like the AverMedia LGP Lite (GL310). Now video capturing devices take issue into capturing old VGA sources, and the AverMedia is no exception. We also need to convert these old video signals into VGA in the first place, so lots of challenges ahead....
