This customer needed a baby gate that would keep her very active son from falling down the stairs and keep her dog on the main level. She went to retractagate.com to see if the Retract-A-Gate would work for her and it did. As you can see, it is installed on the outside of her doorway about 6” back from the first step so that her son or dog won’t be able to push the mesh past the edge of the staircase. She also installed extra brackets so that she can block off two areas with one gate. It can be worked with one hand and the gate does twice the job!
