In this first episode of the series, I show and tell about ultrasonic testing the 100 year old boiler on my Vulcan 0-4-0 steam engine, as well as disassembling most of the components that are in need of repair. I had about 120 hours into this project before I started filming this video, and all the work you saw in the video took about 43 hours, so that bring us to a current total of 163 hours.
