I know some people are gonna wonder why is used the belt grinder
to shape the handle and not hand tools like spoke shaves and draw knives. The answer is that I did that last time I made an axe handle so I thought I'd switch it up a bit.
The second reason is that this piece of ash had a couple of knots in it which causes the grain to wave and bend making it hard to not get tear out when using hand tools.
