I made a couple of mistakes while making this bat.
1) I should've done all the shaping on the lathe since it becomes alot more symmetrical
2) I should've done all the sanding on the lathe. Instead of doing all the shaping with the lathe chisels, i should've taken a belt sander belt (very rough grit) and shaped the bat with it.
3) I should've gone with a design instead of free handing it.

The other bat shown in the video was one the i made about 10 months ago when we got the lathe. It's bigger and looks alot better
