You try to keep up. So you work harder, longer - and possibly even later. Maybe you’re sacrificing time with your friends, family, recreation, hobbies, even sleep.
It has been clinically proven that more creative ideas arise when we are at rest. So if you are desperately trying to find that new productivity hack that is going to change everything, you may just want to take a walk around the block or sit and meditate for 10 minutes in your favorite easy chair. That’s because rest is productive, too.
