Resin poured over an acrylic paint poured 16”X20” canvas. These resin top coats are a very dramatic way to bring the life back to a paint pour. The resin we used was mixed per manufacturer’s instructions, 1:1.

The backside of the canvas was covered with exterior painter’s tape and then the sides were covered as well. If the sides of your paintings are painted, I recommend not taping off the sides and just allowing the the resin to cover the sides. The tape will pull off the paint when it’s removed. The tape on the sides for this one was removed after a couple hours. The tape on the back was removed the next morning while the resin was still tacky and flexible.
