Latest: In a technical leak from "Capcom ID" network, programming codes were spotted for the "Invite Friend for Co-op" feature linked to the project codenamed "Chambers":
This confirms that the remake of the "Zero" part will allow, for the first time, online co-op play between Billy and Rebecca, while retaining the single-player option and the ability to switch between them as in the original version. From Dusk Golem: -Code Veronica Remake is the next major new RE game releasing, it's set to be revealed this year & release in 2027.
-Zero Remake is in dev, aiming for a 2028 release.
-There is NO RE5 Remake in development, & I've always shot that down because it's simply not in dev at all. Just to lay some things out pretty plainly I've said
-RE9 DLC is in the works, there's some crossing of wires going around saying I said there's 2 DLCs, but I never said that. I've just said I know RE9 DLC is comin, but honestly just know bits & pieces about it. The remake of Resident Evil Zero would feature online co-op mode đĽđĽ
A recent leak on Capcom's ID network revealed code related to the "invite a friend for a co-op game" feature, directly linked to the "Chambers" project.
