🚙 Drive America's Highways for 16 miles west along U.S. Highway 412 from Hayti to Kennett, Missouri.
We start the drive from Hayti to Kennett at the western terminus of Interstate 155 in southeast Hayti. As the highway becomes U.S. Highway 412, we continue northwest, bypassing Hayti and Hayti Heights to the south and southwest, respectively.
At the intersection with MO-84, we turn due west for 14 miles to Kennett. Entering Kennett, we pass the intersection with Missouri Route 25 before making a brief pit stop for fuel before ending the video a block later at the junction with Missouri Route 84 west.

The drive along U.S. Route 49 from Helena–West Helena to Brinkley covers a key north–south stretch of the Arkansas Delta, linking the Mississippi River region with Interstate 40. Beginning at the junction of U.S. 49 and U.S. 49 Business in Helena–West Helena, the route heads generally west across Phillips County, leaving behind the historic river city and its long-standing role as a Mississippi crossing point. The opening miles of the journey carry traffic through the flat agricultural lands that dominate this part of eastern Arkansas, with wide fields and scattered farmsteads setting the tone for the drive.
Continuing west, U.S. 49 runs through the small communities that serve as anchors for local farming operations. The highway provides access to places like Marvell and other Delta towns where life moves at a slower pace and roadside views often include stretches of cotton, soybeans, and rice fields. As the drive progresses, the road remains largely two-lane, turning north near Marvell and offering a relaxed rhythm compared to the high-speed interstates farther west. Motorists traveling this corridor get a clear sense of the region’s rural heritage and the close ties between the land and the people who live along it.
Approaching Monroe County, the character of the drive begins to shift as the route nears Brinkley, a longstanding crossroads town in eastern Arkansas. Brinkley has long been recognized for its railroad and highway connections, making it an important Delta hub for both local commerce and long-distance travelers. The drive concludes at the junction with Interstate 40, where U.S. 49 ties into one of the country’s busiest east–west highways. This connection links Helena–West Helena and the broader Delta directly with Little Rock to the west and Memphis to the east, underscoring U.S. 49’s importance as a regional connector.

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 26 miles south along Arkansas Highway 5 from Mountain View to Drasco, Arkansas — a winding stretch through the Ozark foothills of farms and forests.
The journey along Arkansas Highway 5 from Mountain View to Drasco begins at the junction with AR-9 and AR-14 in Mountain View, a town long known as a hub of Ozark folk culture and music. Heading east with AR-14 for a short distance, the highway soon separates and bends southward, leaving town and entering the foothills. The early miles of the route carry travelers through rolling valleys and gentle plateaus, where open farmland alternates with stretches of hardwood forest. This is a quieter, less hurried part of the Ozarks, offering glimpses of small ranches and scattered homesteads along the way.
After crossing a series of hills and ridges, Highway 5 swings southeast and continues its descent deeper into the foothills. Near the intersection with County Road 235, the route takes a more southerly line, running for nearly 14 miles toward Wolf Bayou. Here, the highway intersects Arkansas Highway 25, joining it briefly as the two routes head west into Drasco. The road passes the Drasco Trading Post, a familiar local landmark, before curving south once more. The drive concludes at the junction with Arkansas Highway 92, where AR-5 continues toward Heber Springs, and travelers can turn to explore more of north-central Arkansas.

🚙 Drive Americas Highways for 23 miles south along County Road 7950 from Nageezi to Chaco Culture National Historical Park in New Mexico.
The route from Nageezi to Chaco Culture National Historical Park is a scenic, yet challenging 20 or so mile trek through the stunning high desert of New Mexico. Starting out on a relatively smooth, paved road, County Road 7900, we travel south for five miles, winding between various ranches. Although paved, we recommend keeping your speed low as the road is bumpy in places and there are a few cattle grates that we cross along the way.
The scenery on this part of the drive is typical high-desert: lots of grasses and small bushes dotted with the occasional tree. There are a few hills, the peaks of which offer stunning panoramas of the surrounding areas. Five miles or so south of the start of the drive, the route turns southwest on CR-7950. Starting out paved for the first 2 miles or so, CR-7950 takes us deeper into the New Mexican desert with fewer and fewer signs of civilization along the way.
As the pavement ends, County Road 7950 goes through various surface materials. From packed earth to gravel to the rocky banks of a wash, we travel 15 miles through some pretty rugged terrain. Cars can make the drive, at least when its dry. This road will take its toll on your vehicle. We drove this in a full-sized pickup truck and you can see how rough it was for us. Imagine that in a car!
Continuing southwest, we eventually cross the Escavada Wash and climb a small hill before flattening out for the final approach to Chaco Canyon. This is by far one of the roughest parts of the drive. Take it slow through here, your car will thank you. Descending into the canyon, the road turns to sandy dirt and while smoother than the stuff before it, presenting its own set of challenges. we didnt get much faster than 10 miles per hour during parts of this.
Entering the park, the road becomes paved again - why they even bothered at this point is beyond our understanding - and we take a brief stop for the obligatory entrance sign photo. Entering Chaco Culture National Historical Park, we continue towards the visitors center where we stop to learn about the area and a much needed rest.
The road to Chaco National Historical Park is a scenic, yet rough trip through the high desert of New Mexico. While slow-going, the journey offers panoramic views unmatched anywhere else. Be sure to check road conditions before setting out and respect the local tribal lands. Despite the challenging drive, the destination is well worth the effort.

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 24 miles east along U.S. Route 70S from McMinnville to Sparta, Tennessee — a scenic drive through river valleys and quiet small towns.
U.S. Route 70S provides an important east–west link across middle Tennessee, serving both as a local connector and as a parallel alternative to Interstate 40 farther north. This segment between McMinnville and Sparta highlights the beauty of the Highland Rim, where rolling farmland meets wooded ridges and winding river valleys. Beginning in McMinnville, the route leaves the city by crossing the Collins River, an area known for its fertile valleys and nursery industry.
Heading northeast, the highway intersects Tennessee Route 30 before reaching the small community of Campaign. Here the drive bends east to cross the Rocky River, offering glimpses of the surrounding hills. Continuing on, the route makes its way toward Doyle, a community with deep ties to White County’s rural heritage. From Doyle, the final stretch runs northward, joining Tennessee Route 111 as the highway enters Sparta. Beginning at Atkins Lake Road, this segment of U.S. Route 65 traverses southward between Pine Bluff and Lake Village, Arkansas, covering approximately 70 miles of diverse terrain and landscapes. Departing from Pine Bluff, a city known for its historical significance and industrial presence, the highway initially heads southeast, passing through suburban and rural areas characterized by agricultural fields and patches of woodlands. As it gradually leaves the urban influence behind, Route 65 transitions into a more serene and pastoral setting, marked by the sprawling farmlands typical of the Arkansas Delta region.
Continuing southeast, Route 65 meanders through small towns and communities, providing access to local amenities and serving as a vital transportation artery for residents and travelers alike. Along the route, motorists encounter picturesque views of the Arkansas countryside, with vast expanses of croplands, meandering streams, and occasional clusters of trees dotting the landscape. As the highway approaches Lake Village, the terrain gently slopes downward, offering glimpses of the expansive waters of Lake Chicot, the largest oxbow lake in North America, which lies adjacent to the town. The drive culminates at Arkansas Highway 144 in Lake Village, where travelers can explore the towns historic charm and recreational opportunities, marking the end of this segment of U.S. Route 65s southward journey through southeastern Arkansas.

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 27 miles south along Interstate 675 from Medway to Miamisburg, Ohio — circling Dayton’s eastern suburbs on the region’s principal beltway route.
The video begins at I-70 on the northeastern side of the Dayton metropolitan area, where I-675 starts its broad sweep around the eastern side of the city. From the interchange, the highway heads south through the communities and suburban areas east of Dayton, providing an important connection between I-70, the eastern suburbs, and destinations along the southern side of the metropolitan area.
Continuing south, Interstate 675 passes through the Fairborn and Beavercreek areas, where the corridor becomes increasingly developed. Interchanges provide access to major local and regional roads serving Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Wright State University, shopping districts, residential neighborhoods, and the extensive commercial development surrounding Beavercreek. Despite the suburban setting, portions of I-675 remain bordered by wooded areas and open roadside spaces, giving the highway a noticeably different character from the more heavily urbanized interstate corridors closer to downtown Dayton.
South of Beavercreek, I-675 continues through the eastern and southeastern suburbs of the Dayton area. The route passes connections serving Kettering, Centerville, Washington Township, and surrounding communities while maintaining its limited-access freeway character. Traffic and development become denser around the major interchanges, with stretches of trees and gently rolling terrain separating many of the commercial areas. The highway serves both local commuters and through traffic seeking to travel between I-70 and I-75 without passing directly through central Dayton.
The final portion of the drive carries Interstate 675 southwest through the Centerville and Miamisburg area. Here, the freeway gradually approaches the Great Miami River corridor and the heavily traveled southern side of the Dayton region. The video ends at Interstate 75 in Miamisburg, where I-675 reaches its southern terminus and traffic can continue north toward Dayton or south toward Cincinnati. From Medway to Miamisburg, the drive provides a complete southbound run of Interstate 675 and a clear look at the highway that forms the eastern arc of Dayton’s interstate network.
