I show how to install new shift cables into SRAM X3 shifters. I show installing a new cable into the right shifter. The left shifter is done the same way. Other SRAM shifters such as the X4 are similar except they may have a plastic plug covering the cable access hole. Just unscrew the plastic plug with a screwdriver. The bike is a 2010 Specialized Hardrock.

$I Crashed My Bike And Broke My Back I was shooting footage for a video and made a stupid mistake. I crashed my bike, and fractured three vertebrae (T3, T4, T5). One of the doctors said that if I wasnt wearing a helmet, I would probably be dead. There is no surgery needed, but it will take 6-8 weeks to recover.
