My treadmill was making some horrible noises so I tore it apart and repaired the motor. Total cost was $10 for a replacement bearing. This video shows the disassembled motor. The only specialty tool I needed was a gear puller. I was able to set the replacement bearing with a piece of pipe and a mallet, and able to set the flywheel using some wood blocks and a mallet. Treadmill is now nice and quiet. smbaker.com
