I finished the carb repair and the car starts and runs so much better now. Fuel is remaining in the float bowl after the engine is shut off. I have been fighting this problem now for a while and am glad to finally have fixed it. I replaced the power valve and rebuilt the accelerator pump. I also cleaned the EGR valve spacer unit, it was caked with carbon, and put on new EGR spacer and carb gaskets.
