Hi and thanks for your interest. The Louise Jannetta Gallery & Studio has reopened after lockdown. This is a short video showing the work exhibited at the opening on the 17th of April 2021.

At a point of re-evaluation and transition, Louise exhibits past work alongside her most recent collections.

Having established a reputation for her intricate and delicate work with the textures and majesty of woodlands and trees Louise now pushes these concepts using the expressive qualities of oil paints. This exhibition contains work that spans these areas of interest and makes evident the threads that stitch past genres to future possibilities.

There are large abstracts that flow with the currents and tensions of line, textures, form and colour and there are small, delicate studies of the ethereal essence of nature.

Impossible to capture the impact of this retrospective on a short video, this is however an invite to come and spend time immersed in gentle contemplation of nature’s profound relevance.
