In this episode of Rental Rescue, we demo the final remaining upper cabinets, and then set about removing all the sheetrock (drywall) that is not worth saving. By the end of this four hour day, we ready ourselves for next week when we can demo the kitchen window and hopefully install a new one. I also talk about one of the big benefits of working on rental properties with your kids. My son Patrick has been doing a great job on this project and I pay him $20 an hour to work along side me. The hours we have spent over the last two weeks have been terrific. Sharing the load with someone else is a lot more fun that toiling away by myself. Peace!
P.S. yeah, I got a haircut before I made Episode 3 ;)
