PM-R TV | My First CFL Game! It was so cool to Photograph the Argonauts up in Toronto for the very first time. @PMRTV | Uploaded 10 months ago | Updated 11 hours ago
I'm trying to check things off my bucket list and I've always wanted to shoot a CFL game in Canada. My wish came true with help from my buddy Reuben Polansky-Shapiro, who was interning for the Argos last year when I got to go. After shooting college and NFL ball for over 30 years, it was awesome to finally get to shoot on the massive field that dwarfs our US sized fields.
CFL games are much faster with only three downs instead of four and deep end zones for the air game. I had a gas up there and Canadians are such nice people!!! I love Toronto and can't wait to return again soon. Tim Horton's is always good and I had my first flights on Porter Airlines as well this trip. I listened to a lot of RUSH while doing street photography up there too--an added bonus! I shot the game with the Sony a1 and the FE200-600G lens. This combination with punch-in gave me a 200-900mm lens, which I needed every bit of to cover the massive field.
