Remembering The Croppy Boy - 1798 Commemoration, Passage, Co. Waterford (2024)

For the past 3 years I have been giving a man called Tim Corrigan a hand organise an event at the grave of 'The Croppy Boy' beside New Geneva Barracks in East Waterford.

Over 1,000 men from every corner of Ireland, from Antrim to Cork and Galway to Wexford, were imprisoned in New Geneva following the 1798 Rising in Ireland and during these commemorations we remember them.
